JARSCO began operations as an off-shoot of a family business in 1979. The first few years we worked with a corrosion engineer, installing engineered Cathodic Protection systems on small gas distribution systems.
In 1985, we received our first Gas Leak Survey contract with Pacific Gas & Electric. By 1987, JARSCO was the largest Gas Leak Survey contractor west of the Rockies. In 1989, while under contract with PG&E, we became involved in our first Propane Distribution System as part of the Helm's Project. By 1990, JARSCO was providing compliance services to the largest propane piping system in the State of California.
